It's true that necessity is the mother of invention. We here at Green Eggs and Jam (GE&J) established our operation to help others with the everyday needs and conflicts that are becoming ever present in all our lives.

Like most people, the last few years really changed the way that we viewed consumer goods and the way they flowed from suppliers to our homes. Whether it was concerns over the carbon footprint we incurred by shipping items or if they would make it to our door at all due to supply chain issues. When considering this conundrum of waste vs scarcity, we knew there was more we could do to help our community and our planet. Join us as we celebrate the ways we can all thrift, harvest, repurpose, and reinvent our way through the seasons!

Our items are produced with a great deal of planning and creativity to capture the maximum benefit of circularity, seasonality, and practicality. As such, we offer a broad line of "one of a kind" products such as homemade jam (made with local produce, of course!), tote bags made from thrifted textiles, reusable food wraps made from fabric scraps and local beeswax, and much more!
